Tarja has more than 13 years of legal practice, providing a comprehensive legal advice to numerous international and domestic clients. She is, among others, experienced in corporate and commercial law, banking and finance, competition and international M&A. She possesses solid knowledge about Central and Southeast European markets and is skilled negotiator with international sensibility in solving complex legal challenges.
Prior to establishing her own practice in 2010, she was engaged on numerous international transactions, and has led and managed regional M&A transactions across Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Serbia and Montenegro. She began her law career at Croatian Telecom Inc. where she gained valuable experience in telecommunications & regulatory legal framework, as well as in corporate, M&A and competition.
Tarja holds the Master of Laws Degree, LL.M., from the Duke Law School, North Carolina, US as the US State Department Ron Brown Fellowship alumna, and the LL.B. degree from the University of Zagreb, Croatia. She is a member of the Croatian Bar Association and the International Bar Association (IBA).
Ivica has extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, banking and finance, dispute resolution and arbitration, as well as in the industry sectors such as energy, tourism, insurance and pharmaceutical. Before joining the Law Office Krehic, Ivica worked at the audit company KPMG Croatia Ltd, and the Law Firm Hanžeković & Partners Ltd. Ivica holds the LL.B. degree from from the University of Zagreb, Croatia. He is a registered mediator with the Croatian Ministry of Justice and a member of the Croatian Mediation Association.
