Tarja Krehić, Croatian attorney-at-law and with over 20 years of successful legal practice, providing a comprehensive legal advice to numerous international and domestic clients.
Through years of experience in representing clients in major local/cross-border strategic M&A and group restructurings, local and cross-border acquisitions and dispositions, complex carve-out transactions, joint ventures, public-private partnerships and collaborative alliances structures, Tarja has extensive M&A and corporate background. In addition, Tarja assists clients with sensitive compliance and GDPR-related issues, corporate governance and compliance issues, structuring ESOP transactions, bond issuance and internal risk-management and employment-restructuring matters. As a result of the legal and business-focused nature of our practice, we advise clients from industries such as ICT, telecommunications and media, pharmaceuticals, and energy. Although truly grounded in Croatia, through strong regional network, she actively connects activities in Adria region, Europe and beyond, a real benefit for clients operating in these dynamic and growing markets.
Tarja holds the Master of Laws Degree, LL.M., from the US Duke Law School, as the US State Department Ron Brown Fellowship alumna, and the LL.B. degree from the University of Zagreb, Croatia. She is president of the Croatian Association of Women in Legal Profession.
